Jennie DeVoe

When Jennie DeVoe begins to sing, she leaves people mesmerized. It’s not only her sexy, bluesy, sultry and sometimes gritty voice that reminds you of a blend of Billie Holiday and Janis Joplin that captivates you, but her totally original musicianship has positioned her as an up-and-coming vocal star. Her predominantly acoustic blues-flavored style is peppered with the right combination of groove and lyrical painting that makes for a total performance that delivers a vibe that is nothing but cool. She even calls her own style “Americana-hippie-gospel-soul”. Join us as Jennie talks about her music, passions, world and the things that matter in her life. She might even bring her guitar along and perform a tune or two live on our PodCast. Inside MusiCast welcomes Jennie DeVoe.

You know, Jenny is a LIVE type of artist. The type of artist that you have to look in the eyes as she sings. I love doing this because you can tell if someone is really singing the song. In Jenny's case, she sings original stuff....so it's totally hers. How honest can you get? What a voice. It was a joy to have her in the studio singing us a tune....as she sang, I looked in her eyes....and the heart just poured out. Go Jenny. Thanks for being our guest.ec

Just finished listening to the podcast & it was great! What a cool way to start my Friday. I've really started to enjoy listening to podcasts of musicians over the last year & I'm excited to hear one of my favorite artists with such great audio quality. I'll be subscribing and looking forward to hearing more from insidemusicast.

FYI: We have GOT to get Jennie an iPod. If I win Powerball on Saturday,I'll buy it for her with my new fortune & make sure she sees how nice itis to have portable access to great programs like this one.

Both of you keep up the good work!

Kyle
