Chris Rodriguez VideoCast Special
Chris Rodriguez has a cool gig. For five years, the guitarist/vocalist has been travelling with one of the biggest tours in the music business – Country megastar Keith Urban. Although Rick and Eddy haven’t been totally baptized into Country music, one thing they realize is that Country isn’t just Country anymore. It’s more sophisticated – combining the musical essence of Rock, Pop, and even a little Folk. We met up with Chris for a guided tour of the musical setup of the ESCAPE TOGETHER stage. Every guitarist will love how Chris tells of each guitar, it’s history, and purpose. He even shows us a special guitar that is dear to Urban. Inside MusiCast welcomes Chris Rodriguez as our first IMC VideoCast interview!
Also, be sure to listen to our first interview with Chris.

Absolutely stellar look into one of the greatest "guitar slingers" out there working today... Chris' dedication and enthusiasm for what he does really comes thru on this video... Well done guys... Bravo. Many thanks to Chris too.
LOVE the video format, guys. Thanks. Chris is an outstanding musician, and with this interview you can tell he's passionate about it, especially performing. I love the guitar/amp analysis too. A '58 Les Paul!! VERY COOL. It reminded me of that bit in SPINAL TAP when Nigel is describing his guitars, and said, 'Don't even look at it!"
Thanks guys, this is one of the best behind the scenes interviews I have seen. Chris Rodriguez is an amazing talent.
Did you get to chat with Chris McHugh? He is an awesome session drummer.
All the best. Keep up the great work.
Chris is obviously the real deal. His guitars were amazing and I'm not even a guitarist. Rick did such a great job with the video shoot and sound. He's a great sound gut...an Emmy winning sound editor, for those that didn't know that.
Keith and Crew the Road are very giffed artist and Musicians if you have been to a Keith Urban Concert Go because I tell you the turth you will enjoy the show and never forget experience it is awsome they one of my favorites Keith and the Road. never boring. Tweetie

Really nice interview -- Chris is so giving there. Love the history and "behind the scenes" run down.
This site is really looking great as well!
Really, really enjoyed this. Thanks so much!! And Eddy, thanks for taking our picture with Chris. ;-)
Must say I enjoyed that as well guys, hope you do some more of these in the future. Think I will go get some coffee now and listen to the Stephen Bishop interview.
This gives me a new appreciation for the different kinds of talent that go into putting on a show like Keith's - from the performers to the techs to the riggers. Thank you for the interview.
Thank you so much for the interview. It was great. I loved hearing about what goes on behind the scenes, the different types of the guitars, and the project he's working on. Chris is a great artist/musician and look forward to hearing more about his CD. Chris I have your first CD, Beggars Paradise and Your Love is my favorite song. I look forward to hearing more from you.
