Another great interview with a nother superb musician. As with all of your interviews, I have only "known" these musicians by their playing and by the liner notes. Its great to actually hear from them and how down to earth and approachable each of these guys (and gal) are.

Carl, David has obviously played with the best and continues to do his thing....collaborating. I can appreciate his making of music along with the help of others around him. I'm amazed at how he isn't a formally trained musician....but yet his caliber is above some of the best players in the world. I'm a self taught keyboardist and can relate to his "ear" approach to music. I just heard Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) on an interview where he states how he doesn't read music...he learned how to play on his own....technique and all. There are alot of natural musicians that never went through training, yet they are making music. Cool.
