For almost as long as Lee Sklar has been into drag racing, he’s been one of the music industry’s most sought after bassists. His discography is longer than his beard and his ability to keep the bassline groove fresh is the reason why he still tours with top acts such as James Taylor, Lyle Lovett, Jackson Browne, Phil Collins, and many more. Lee is also the perennial global bassists, having performed and contributed to many international recording projects. Inside MusiCast is proud to have Lee Sklar on our guest list.
Nitro is right! His TBucket is one nasty mutha. Lee mentioned to us that he can't drive it too often due to the fact that it's sort of ......how did you say it? .....illegal. Sometimes we stray off the music tracks a little....but, what a way to go! I loved talking drag racing with Lee and recalling the EARLY days of Connie Kalitta and Big John Mazmanian. Wow! you should see his T roadster....its so powerful that it burns nitro. If you know what nitro is, you'll know that this T bucket is explosive. Sort of illegal, but who cars! Thanks Lee!
